Painting Tips & Tricks

Consider your home’s style, lighting, and existing decor. We recommend testing samples on the wall before committing.

  • Flat and matte: Little to no sheen, doesn’t reflect light.  Gives truest color of paint.  Recommended for ceilings and walls throughout home in lower moisture areas
  • Eggshell: Some sheen, low-luster finish.  Ideal for areas you want a little shine.  Recommended for walls in higher moisture areas
  • Satin: Mid-level sheen, fairly reflective of light. Recommended for trim, woodwork and for walls with a desired higher luster
  • Semi-Gloss: Very shiny.  Recommended for trim, woodwork and very smooth surfaces where high shine is desired.
  • Gloss: Maximum sheen and most reflective of light.  Typical for use on metals and other very smooth surfaces.

Use moisture-resistant, mildew-resistant paint and ensure proper ventilation with an exhaust fan.

Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals that can strip the paint.

Regular power washing, proper maintenance, and using high-quality paint will help your exterior last longer.

Cabinet Painting & Refinishing FAQs

Yes, but proper surface prep (cleaning, sanding, and priming) is essential for a long-lasting finish.

Most projects take 5-7 days, depending on the number of cabinets and the drying time.

We recommend painting cabinets over staining.

  • Paint offers a smooth, solid color finish.

  • Stain enhances the natural wood grain.

We use high-quality, chip-resistant finishes that last for years with proper care.

Power Washing FAQs

Power washing removes dirt, mildew, and grime, preserving your home’s curb appeal and longevity.

We recommend power washing every couple years depending on the sun and moisture exposure of your home.

Yes! We use adjustable pressure settings to clean different surfaces without damage.

Yes, in some cases, power washing can help remove loose or peeling paint before repainting.

Epoxy Flooring FAQs

Epoxy flooring is durable, easy to clean, and resistant to stains, chemicals, and moisture.

With proper care, epoxy flooring can last 10-20 years in garages and commercial spaces.

Yes! However, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of cracks for the best results.

Epoxy flooring typically dries within 24 hours, but full curing can take up to 7 days.
